Blackwing Pencils, Pkg of 12

The California incense-cedar wood smells amazing when sharpening, and the replaceable eraser is surprisingly sturdy. I've been switching between the Pearl and 602 leads depending on my mood, and both feel smooth without much scratchiness.

The cedar smell when I opened the box is absolutely lovely, and the Japanese graphite writes so smoothly it feels like gliding. The replaceable eraser on the pearl one is a nice touch, though I'm already planning to use these for all my sketching and notes.

The Japanese graphite in these is noticeably smoother than my usual pencils—almost no scratchiness when writing. The replaceable eraser is a nice touch, though I wish the eraser itself was a bit larger for covering mistakes.
