I had about 200 slides from my dad’s travels in the 1970s, and the scan resolution brought out details I’d never noticed before, like the grain on an old wooden fence. The turnaround was just under two weeks, which was faster than I expected for that many images.

My grandmother's slides from the 1950s look like they were taken yesterday—the colors are so vivid and the dust specks I always saw are completely gone. Having a local spot with nearly three decades of experience handling fragile film made me feel confident mailing them in.

I was nervous about sending in my old family slides, but the care they took with each one was obvious. The digitized files came back sharp and clear, and I could finally see the details in my grandmother’s 1950s vacation photos.
